Lyonene is the most stupid heroine history has ever created…Throughout the book I was pulling my hair like a mad-woman, I fear Beauty Salons will refuse to let me step in their salon let alone re-style my hair… I have read some great reviews about this book but I must say that I am terribly disappointed with this one.

On my Nook this was pages but it felt a lot longer than that.

I don’t ,yon Lyonene as being insecure exactly, but he rapes her twice after they’re married, and instead of being angry with him, she just wonders why he hates her so much. Ranulf is a great warrior who meets the gentle and beautiful Lyonene and is betrothed very quickly.

I really liked the angst and passion between the main couple.

I could never tell how much time passed until it was spelled out deverayx me. I am glad I took the leap and look blafk to reading the next book in the Montgomery series.

An Angel for Emily. I have read other books by this author and enjoyed them. I’m pretty sure that was rape, but I somehow overlooked it. When she disguised herself as a dancer and danced in front of Ranulf, Ranulf starts kissing and caressing her all the time believing that she is a dancer and not his wife.

Do You Want to Start a Scandal. Here come the part that I say you “I like it this book or not. As it is, the thing I remember most is that the Black Lyon is not shy about abusin I’d been meaning to read this series for-evah, as Jude Deveraux tops a lot of lists for Historical Romance favorites. Years later when I purged my book collection hers were the only ones I kept in toto.

I love how she fights to find the love and connection they had when they first met especially with all obstacles put between them. All in all, it was a promising start for the series. This is an older written book, I believe ? I don’t know that I really got a clear picture in my head while reading. Like, just when I think she can’t possibly be more dumb, she’s like “hold my beer” I l I ve reading all her books.

I don’t like how Ranulf is always staring hard at her either. The Scent of Jasmine. For all their faults though, they were rather okay, I suppose, taking into consideration how old this book is and the type of the plot. Then there would be a period when all is flowing good and then it happens again!

I’m not sure about it! I know she’s gotten better over the bladk.
